Evelyn was born in upstate New York to Bernard and Wava Sweet, she had two sisters, Norma Keno and Janet Ake. She worked for several years in Orange County including in the mid 1950's at Disneyland and met Walt Disney himself. She also owned and operated Dale's Station from 1979 to 1988, where she met her second husband Forest and were together for 30 years. Ev loved fishing around Newport Harbor and Catalina Island. Ev and Forest loved to camp and fish various spots in Tehama County. Ev loved all animals, including her BLM burrow Maggie Kate her dog Bo, and her pet fox Michael J. She made many, many friends throughout the country and was loved by all. Ev leaves behind her loving husband and companion Forest, her son Russ (Deana) Hullinger, their two sons Dustin and Bryce, daughter Colleen, Forests children Susan Brandon and James Knight, one grandaughter, three grandsons and five great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews including Leigh and Leslie Keno, who star on the P.B.S. station Antiques Road Show. Forest will definitely miss his kitten. A family and friends get together will be held July 13, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Elk's Lodge, Red Bluff.
