Loretta Rose Bloxham passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Saturday, June 30, 2018. She was 89. She was born to Lane and Sarah Bowser on December 11, 1928 in Swink, Colorado. Loretta met her husband Robert while working as a waitress in LaJunta Colorado when he was attending pilot training in 1945. They were married a month later on April 21, 1945 in Redding, CA. They were married 69 1/2 years when her husband passed in 2014. They are now together forever. Her life as a military wife took her all over the world. They lived in Lincoln Nebraska, Red Bluff, Austria, Munich Germany, Frankfurt Germany, Merced, CA, San Rafael, CA, Chateauroux France, Oklahoma, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Illnois, and back to Red Bluff in 1968. Loretta is survived by son Ron (Barbara) of Santa Maria, daughters Kathy Kay of Medford, and Lore Chrasta of Red Bluff, sisters Marge Britton and Nancy Hancock, grandchildren Marc, Robert, Ronna, Amanda, Angela, Chris Craig, 13 great grandchildren and another on the way and many nieces and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, son Marty, sisters Helen, Irene, Clarabelle, Frankie and Pat, brothers James and Micky and her loving husband. She greeted everyone including strangers with her beautiful big smile. She was the best of the best. Her service will be held on Friday, July 6th at 1pm at the First Christian Church, 926 Madison St., Red Bluff. We are asking if you wish, to wear pink and or red as those were her most favorite colors.
