Lillian K. Sakuma passed away June 29, 2018 at the age of 93. Lillian was born April 10, 1925 to Shigeru and Yoshi Iida in Fife, Washington. She grew up near Seattle with her two sisters Yoko, and Mary. During the war, she lived with her family in Japan, and later returned to America. She married Milton Sakuma and moved to the farm near Burlington, Washington where they had three children; John, Julie, and Daniel. In 1967, the family moved to Red Bluff, California to manage the Norcal Nursery farming operations. Lillian worked part time during the harvest seasons and all of the time raising her family. She enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, and her cats. Lillian will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving mother and grandmother who devoted herself to her family. Preceded in death by her husband Milton, she is survived by sister Yoko Iida, sister Mary Craig and her husband Wallace, son John and his wife Mary, daughter Julie, and son Daniel. Four grandchildren; Devin, Michael, Gabriel, and Diamond. Four great-grandchildren; Julia, Miles, Harlow, and Evelyn. Visitation will be Sunday, July 15, from 3 to 6 P.M. at Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers. 816 Walnut Street, Red Bluff, California. Burial will be Monday, July 16, at 10 A.M. at Oak Hill Cemetery. 600 Cemetery Lane, Red Bluff, California.
