Arthur ("Artie") Bove Jr., age 86, passed away July 4th, 2018 peacefully in a rehabilitation center in Palm Harbor, Florida. He was born October 7, 1931 in Queens, New York, the youngest of three brothers to Marie (Sepe) Bove and Arthur Bove Sr.
Arthur Bove Jr. was a vocational graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School. After graduation, he became a Mechanic, served honorably in the Korean War, and later became a successful Sales Account Manager in the Airline Industry, where he displayed an incredible ability to observe and recall detailed information. He married his high school sweetheart and prom date Gloria (Colardi) Bove in a hurricane and went on to be married for over 60 years.
Arthur was generous and displayed a frequent and often dry wit. He is survived by his wife, Gloria and the rest of his immediate family, Donna Bove-Hroch, Russell Hroch, Deborah Cotterall, and David “Bo” Bove.
