Joan L. Bunn

Joan L. Conley Stryker Bunn, 86, of the Penn Yan area and Sierra Vista, AZ, passed away on July 18th, 2018 at Geneva General Hospital. Joan was born in Hartford, CT on May 1, 1932 to Oscar and Cora (Harrison) Conley. Joan enjoyed bowling, knitting, crochet, bingo and watching wrestling. Those surviving Joan are her 9 children, Jay (Shelly) Stryker of Kearney, MO, Connie (Brad) Baughman of Dresden, NY, Paula Wolff of Dresden, Vicki Stryker of Phoenix, AZ, Robert Stryker of Penn Yan, NY, Daniel (Ginny) Stryker of Yatesville, Larry (Bev) Stryker of Omaha, NE, Barry Stryker of Dundee, Penny Stryker-Farris of Penn Yan, NY. Joan is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great- grandchildren, 2 sisters, Janice Dailey of Penn Yan and Carol Minster, 1 brother, Gary (Mary) Nealis of Sierra Vista, AZ, many cousins, nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Cora Conley, son, Dennis Stryker, sisters, Joyce Barr of Sierra Vista, AZ, Donna Covert of Tombstone, AZ, brother, Harold Conley of Rochester, NY and sister-in-law, Viola Fraker of AR.

Friends and family may call from 10 am to 11am on Saturday, August 11th, 2018 at the Townsend Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St. Penn Yan, NY 14527. A memorial service celebrating Joan's life will follow at 11am with the Rev. Jeff Childs. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
