Born in Lynn, Sammye was the loving daughter of Raymond J. and Holly A. (Courtney) Dooley and granddaughter of Marie Norma Courtney, all of Lynn; the dear sister of Julianne R. Sanchez of Stoneham, Ian Dooley of Lynn, her twin, Abbye R. Parks and her husband, Jason of Woburn; and the cherished aunt of Kelsey Sanchez of Stoneham, Kyleigh Sanchez of Lowell, Brayden Galante of Stoneham, Emalie R., Courtney R., and Sarah J. Parks, all of Woburn, Jodee and Zach Domey, Ashley and Jackie Crooker, all of Wakefield. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her beloved Chihuahua, “Bella”.
Sammye was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lynn with the Class of 2001, and enjoyed playing basketball in her younger years. She took pleasure in meeting new people, and would easily strike up conversations with others. But, most of all, Sammye loved taking care of, spending time with, and being a mother to her daughter, Autumn Rose.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, July 29th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the CUFFE-McGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 30th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Jean Cemetery, Lynn. , In lieu of flowers contributions in Samantha’s memory may be made to Sam Dooley Memorial Funds via the website listed below.
