Venielua Ann Parmer, 75, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 3, 2018. She passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. Venielua was born on February 12, 1943 in Fitzgerald, GA to Woodrow and Trezie Morris. She was preceded in death by her parents & brother, Fredrick Morris. Venielua is survived by her husband of 55 years, Colonel Bert Parmer; children, Tiffany (Bill) Doniel & Dr. Bryan (Amy) Parmer; grandchildren, Evan Parmer, Leyton Parmer, Madeleine Doniel, Adelaide Doniel & Nolan Parmer.
Venielua married Bert in 1963 after meeting at Grace Trinity Church of Jacksonville, FL where her Father in law was Pastor. Over the next 25 years Venielua & Bert traveled to 15 different duty stations with the US Army including tour assignments in Panama & Germany. Through her travels Venielua made many close friends with her warm & generous personality. While she enjoyed many hobbies & passions over the years her greatest joy was to simply spend time with her husband, children & grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8th from 1-3pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home MacDill, 605 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa. Interment service will be Thursday, August 9th at Florida National Cemetery, 2:30pm.
