Sheila Darlene (Bryant) Smith

Sheila Darlene Smith, 74, of Bloomington died Saturday, September 1, 2018 in I.U. Health, Bloomington Hospital. She was born December 13, 1943 in Bloomington to Wayne Maxwell Bryant and Edith Wilma Hughes Bryant. She had been a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Dawn Breedlove of Bloomington; two sons, Craig Vance (wife Tresa) Breedlove of Royal Center, IN and Christopher Wayne Breedlove of Bloomington; a step daughter, Vicky (husband Cristopher) Henderson of Columbus; eight grandchildren, Alisha, Cody, Tabitha, Camille, Kirsten, Katheryn, Laura and Aimy; six great grandchildren, Christopher J., Caleb S., Camron R., Madalyn G. “Diva”, Christian A. and Braylon H.W.; a niece, Anita Jill; and a nephew, Kevin Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Wayne Smith; and a sister, Sandra L. Weddle.

Sheila was of the Pentecostal faith. Her hobbies included gambling, traveling and spending time with her family. She had also worked at Bloomington Abstract.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St. Burial will follow in Clear Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
