Born on July 8th, 1930 to Jacobo Quilon and Crispina Asuelo in Santa Cruz, Zambales, Philippines he was the oldest of four children (Rudolfo, Gloria and Eduardo). Married for 54 years to his sweetheart Belen Miclat he is survived by his children Jobel, Jerry, Jun Jun and daughter in law Claire.
He enlisted in the U. S. Navy in March 1954 and served for 19 years. After his service ended he was employed by the United States Postal Service for 21 years. Since his retirements he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
A Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8th, 2018. in Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, located at 10472 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. 32246. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 8th with Father Rafael LaVilla as Celebrant, followed by interment in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens with military honors.
