Evelyn Rodgers Antoon passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 28, 2018 after a brief illness. She was born September 28, 1942 in Houma , Louisiana. For many years, she worked as a Draftsman in and around Baton Rouge. A talented artist, she later taught classes and served as the Center Supervisor at the Webb Park location for BREC. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer R. Antoon of Atlanta, Ga, and son, Mitchell J. “Trey” Antoon III and daughter-in-law, Merry A. Antoon of Covington; sister, Glenda R. Daigle and brother –in-law, J. Wilfred Daigle, Jr., of Paincourtvillle; brother, James W. Dunnehoo, Jr., of White Castle; sister-in-law, Geraldine L. Rogers of White Castle; nephews, Julius W. “Trip” Daigle III and Thomas D. Daigle, Sr.; nieces, Christine C. Rivet, Denise R. Collins, Alicia and Jennifer Dunnehoo. She is preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Gravois Rodgers Dunnehoo and father, Robert Joseph Rodgers; brother, John S. Rogers; sister, Barbara R. Cook; nephew, Scott J. Cook and niece, Madeline R. Brouillette. The family would like to give special thanks to the entire staff at Assumption Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Cardinal Hospice nurse David, for his care and compassion, and lastly, to Kathy and Ed Henderson for their tender care. Graveside services to be held at a later date.
