Born May 8,1924 to William A. and Erna Paul Jeske in El Paso, TX; passed on Oct 29, 2018 in Seattle from the effects of Parkinson's disease.
A veteran of World War II he served in the U.S. Navy; he graduated from the University of Washington; after a lengthy career with Pacific Northwest Bell Telephone Co, he retired as Chief Economist; later he served as a director and Vice President of Seattle Trust and Savings Bank; he served on Gov. Evans economic council and was appointed by Gov. Gregoire as a director of Prison Industries. He was predeceased by his wife Lucy, his parents, brother Charlie and sisters Dorothy and Mildred. He is survived
by son Steve and wife Rose both of Seattle and sister Margaret of New York. His service with be held on Saturday Nov 10 at 1:00 PM at Magnolia Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Northwest Parkinson Foundation (nwpf.org).
