LYNN - Alma (LeBlanc) Gaudet, a longtime resident of Lynn, 86, passed away on, Friday, November 9th at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Alma was the beloved wife of the late Paul Gaudet with whom she shared 59 years of marriage. Born in Memramcook, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the youngest of 17 children of the late Stanis and Julie (Gosselin) LeBlanc.
She was the loving mother of Gary Gaudet of Lynn, Louise Gaudet and Paul Molnar of Ohio, and Susan and Glen Cole of Peabody and the cherished grandmother of Brandon Paul and Connor William Cole. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Oscar and Antoine Leblanc, both of New Brunswick and many nieces and nephews.
Alma was educated in Canada and came to Lynn in 1963 with her husband Paul. She worked at Cardinal Health in Peabody for 12 years until she retired in 1997. She was an active member of St. Pius V Parish in Lynn. Alma enjoyed bowling, knitting, sewing, playing cards and especially spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
Alma’s funeral will be held from the CUFFE-McGINN Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn on Wednesday, November 14th at 9:00 a.m. followed at 10:00 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St., Lynn. Burial will follow in St. Jean Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, November 13th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
