He was born on December 9, 1942 in Wewoka, OK., to Rufus and Peggy Crabtree. Johnny married Donna Crabtree on September 8, 1963 and had 3 children together. He loved camping and going to the lake. Johnny also loved golfing at the Elks and reading. He was a retired District Fire Chief in Oklahoma City.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish their memories are his wife, Donna Crabtree; children, Brett Crabtree and wife Robin, Lori Sutton and husband Craig, and Terri Harrison and Beau Harrison; grandchildren, Levi “Bishop” Crabtree, Stephen Dye and wife Lisa, Justin Harrison and wife Kendall, Brittni Bordeaux and husband Evan, and Skye Sutton; brother, Joe Crabtree; great-grandchildren, Samantha Dye, Savannah Dye, Stephen Dye Jr., Kinleigh Harrison, Kash Harrison and Cooper Harrison, who is on the way, Hartlee Bordeaux, Eva Bordeaux,; and many more family and friends.
Visitation will be 4:00-7:00pm, Friday, November 23, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Resthaven Funeral Home with Pastor Keith Ward officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
