To Norma and Family, I just received your card that Steve had passed before he had received my card to let him know I was thinking of him. I had the pleasure of knowing him and working closely with him through TIPCO. He was a great guy that I always enjoyed. I’m sorry for your loss and have you all, as well as Steve in my prayers. Webster's dictionary defines Friendship as, "affection arising from mutual esteem and good will, a bond of mutual affection." Words synonymous with friendship are: confidant, ally, buddy, pal, etc.  These words all describe my relationship with Steve. Steve and I have been friends for 50 years! We go back to 1968 when we were both sophomore's at Arundel High. I remember double dating at the Super 170 Drive-In, Spanish class with Miss Baker, sports, canoe trips, and so much more. I remember the first time Kathy and I met Norma and how perfect she and Steve were for each other. The epitome of soul mates! Norma is strong, confident, caring and fun. During my almost weekly phone calls with Steve following his diagnosis, he always ended the call by telling me how lucky he was to have Norma. One of the fondest memories Kathy and I have were the two visits to their home in Nanticoke. We have never had a more relaxing, fun filled, and special time. Which brings me to one of the aspects of Steve that I respected and admired most. His calm, reassuring, and positive outlook on life.  He always had a way of calming my "Type A" personality. Steve had a very real, positive impact on our lives.  We will never forget you Steve.

I am so sad to hear the news about Steve. I met Steve early on when I started calling on Tipco and he was such a fine gentleman to talk with. He will be deeply missed and the industry has lost true friend. Prayers lifted to all the family.
