Kim Marie Goplen passed away after a long 3-year battle with colon/appendix cancer on the morning of Thursday, December 27, 2018. Kim was born in Seattle, Washington to Loretta Kay and Robert Wendell Johnson on April 26, 1958.
Kim will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was completely selfless in how she loved and cared for others, always putting others’ needs before her own. She is survived by her 3 children: Leah Lawson of Mukilteo, WA; Mason Cloud of Everett, WA; Logan Cloud of Everett, WA; Her Mother: Loretta Kay McDonald of Edmonds, WA; Her Siblings: Kevin Johnson of Lake Stevens, WA and Lisa Gordon of Seattle, WA; Her Grandchildren: Alex and Ella Lawson of Mukilteo, WA; Nephews: Trevon Bagnariol and Farrell Gordon of Seattle, WA, Hayden Johnson of Lake Stevens, WA and Nieces: Kyrsten Johnson of Everett, WA, Kiya Gordon of Seattle and dog Thomas.
Kim worked as a Patent Paralegal for more than 20 years with her most recent work in the Biotechnology industry. Kim excelled in her jobs as a Patent Paralegal and was well-loved by her colleagues.
Those who knew Kim agree that she was the most caring, thoughtful, generous, kind and selfless person. She will be terribly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Services for Kim will be held at Northshore Christian Church 5700 23rd Dr. W. Everett, WA 98203 on Sunday, January 20th, 2019 at 1:00pm.
