Charles Cannon Robberts, 82 of La Marque, Texas passed away January 5, 2019. He was born in Hope, Arkansas on February 18, 1936 to Robert and Connye Robberts. He was married to Jacqueline Robberts for 56 years. Charles had a career in ministry as a director for Highlands Baptist Church. He was a member of Highlands Baptist Church and had a passion for his church and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, son-in-law Carl Kellogg, loving wife Jacqueline Robberts, and grandson Sean Bauer.
He is survived by his sons Wayne Sorrows (Tamme), Rick Robberts (Terri), Jay Robberts; daughters Cathy Kellogg, Luanne Rickets (Tim); grandchildren Brandon Bates, Eric Sorrows, Michael Robberts, Keisha Lucas (Eric), Kyra Lancon (Joel), Robbie Wilson, and Nicolas Robberts; 5 great-grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
A visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas 77598 and a service to follow at 10:00 a.m.
