A hard worker, Jack knew how to relax too. You would often find him in his boat on the lake, fishing line in the water waiting for his next catch. He enjoyed entertaining and cooking for his family and friends. Always the life of the party with a smile on his face so much so that his nickname was Smiling Jack which also became his CB handle. Smiling Jack and his wife, Edith loved to travel the roads in their RV. They stocked the RV with supplies, loaded the family and enjoyed making lasting memories of the places they went and the friends made along with way. Jack retired after 37 years with General Motors allowing him more time to enjoy his family and friends.
A loving husband, devoted father and proud grandfather, Jack will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jack was preceded by his wife, Edith Marie Woodard in 2007 and three of his siblings.
He is survived by his son, Morris Kevin Woodard; granddaughter, Madison Kendall Woodard; sister, Norma, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Moore Funeral Home. Entombment to follow at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington, TX.
