Billie Jean was born in Ada, Oklahoma to the late Jack and Alta Raper. She was a graduate of Tyner High School. Billie Jean enjoyed a long and happy life attending GraceWorks Church and loved to garden. She was an avid golfer and a member of Chattanooga Women’s Golf Association.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jack Mark Soloff.
Billie Jean is survived by her daughter, Beth Soloff and a son, David (Kim) Soloff; grandchildren, David Soloff, IV, Amy Soloff, Kathleen Soloff, Mathew (Hannah) Soloff and Mark Soloff, Jr.; great grandchildren, Annie Soloff, Madison Frisbee, Jack Soloff and Megan Soloff; brother, Jack (Glenda) Raper; sisters, Jan (Doyle) Gentry and Debbie (Rich) Morley; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm on Sunday, January 13, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Billie Jean’s life will follow at 3pm on Sunday, at the North Chapel with Dr. Bill Owens officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made in Billie Jean’s name for the building fund at GraceWorks Church, 6445 Lee Highway, Chattanooga, TN 37421.
