Eva Ochoa, 93, of Overland Park, KS, passed away on January 22, 2019. Services will be held Tuesday, January 29th at Queen of the Holy Rosary Church, 7023 W 71st St., Overland Park, KS with Visitation and Rosary at 10 am and the Mass of the Resurrection at 11 am. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the church. Eva was born August 5, 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvador Ochoa and her three sisters and two brothers. Eva was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church and was a member of Queen of the Holy Rosary Church since 1996. She was a devoted member of the Divine Mercy Prayer Group and participated in the Holy Hour at the Adoration Chapel. She was an avid gardener who loved her flowers. She touched the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in ways that were both big and small – what a beautiful gift from a very special and wonderful woman. She filled our hearts with memories and our lives with love. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She will always be remembered by her beautiful smile and loving character. It gives us comfort to know she is at peace with Our Lord. Survivors include her sister, Lupe Albizo of Ft. Worth, Tx; daughters, Kathleen Ochoa and Vicki (Ochoa) Wolf both of Overland Park, Ks; her grandchildren, Salvador (Casey) Wolf, Denver, CO, Phillip Wolf, KCMO, Elena Wolf, Chandler, AZ and her great-grandchildren, John, Nellie and Maddox Wolf.
