He was a creative entrepreneur, inventor and passionate salesman. He is survived by his children, Angéla Joanne Guinchard Lorio, Nicôle Annette Guinchard Rieskamp and Charles Joseph Victor Guinchard; canine companion, Sugar; sister Babette Guinchard Stephen; grandchildren, John Paul Lorio and Hannah Rieskamp. Preceded in death by his spouse Elsa Milagros Estevez Guinchard; parents, Antoinette Henderson Guinchard and Gustave Joseph Guinchard Jr.; uncle, Eugene Paul Guinchard and numberous Henderson aunts and uncles; grandparents, Joseph Charles Guinchard and Angela Dugas and Joseph and Lulu Foster Henderson. His favorite pastime was culinary pursuits and his mother fostered his love of gardening. A man of many hobbies, he loved rock and roll and fast cars. Visitation will be Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. until the memorial prayer service at 1:30 p.m. at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville.
