Wyman Wayne Sylvester Rumbley, of Belton, MO, born December 21, 1950 in El Reno, Oklahoma. He was the youngest of nine children. In 1968 he bravely enlisted in the United States Marine Corp and served his country proudly. After an honorable discharge he began working for the Pipeline. In 1977 he met the love of his life and mother of his two children, Patty. After traveling the country settled in Oklahoma. A few years after Christopher was born, work took him and his family to Missouri, where he became a Union Carpenter for J.E. Dunn Construction.
After a heart attack in 2008 he retired and became a full time husband, father and poppy. It all began with family and ended with a legacy. With a shake of his hand and a look in the eye, his words stood for something no man could deny. Wayne was a hard worker even walking to work, he enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes, excellent pool player, loved dogs - they slept in bed with them, loved motorcycles, grill master - ribs, story teller - joke teller, loved John Wayne movies and westerns and was an awesome grandfather.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James Clifton and Cora May Rumbley. Survived by his wife, Patty Rumbley; daughter, Emily Rumbley; son, Christopher Rumbley; grandchildren, Hannah Briggs, Ian Briggs, Elijah Briggs and Hailey Rumbley.
