Marcia Mary Pasquer “Mouche” born August 7, 1936, passed away on March 13, 2019 in Boulder, CO. Marcia was born in Kenesaw, Nebraska to Charles Guildner and Elizabeth Shively. Marcia married Andre’ Pasquer on June 6th, 1966 in Nebraska. They had three children; Erik Marcel Pasquer, Ian Charles Pasquer and Mireille Elizabeth Pasquer.
Marcia earned her Ph.D. in French Literature and was the Founder and Director of the Denver International School. She was also decorated by the French government as a Knight. Family members describe “Mouche” as making the world a brighter and better place.
Marcia is survived by her three children, siblings Ann Piehl and Charles Wayne Guildner, Grandchildren; Maite’ Lola Dunant, Helios Dunant, Max Alain Pasquer and Solange Pasquer. Other survivors include; Bella the Cat, Aunt Georgia and the Hearty Hibiscus. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andre’ Pasquer.
A Memorial service for Marcia will be held on May 11th, 2019 at 2pm at the Unitarian Church of Boulder. 5007 Pennsylvania Ave. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that you make a contribution to yourself. Take time to sip the wine, laugh with friends and love your family.
