Born October 19, 1943 in Miami, Florida to Robert Beckering and Elizabeth Lund. She's had many careers, she has been a business owner, caregiver, and volunteer in her community and church.
She had a great love and devotion for the Catholic Church and it's missions. Collecting rosary's on her many missionary travels. She was an avid reader and loved her books. She had a wonderful sense of humor and her smile warmed hearts and will be missed. She loved the beach and watching the sunrise. Her wonder lust and zest for life brought her on many great adventures around the world, whether it was in her convertible cars or her motorcycle or with her church. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother and was passionate about family values and spreading love and the word of God.
She is survived by her 5 children, Dean (Tammy) Guiles, Jeff (Cathy) Guiles , Mark (Linda) Guiles, Angel (Phil) Martin , and Sabrina Guiles. 8 grandchildren, Joshua Guiles, Emily Guiles, Rachel Guiles, Hunter Guiles, Alissa Martin, Jeffery Guiles Jr., and Jessica Martin. Sister Hedy Beckering. Preceded by granddaughter Bonnie Guiles, father Robert Beckering, mother Elizabeth Lund, step father Harold Lund, sisters Karen Lach, Trudy Lutz.
Services at 11am Monday, April 8th 2019 at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 1716 6th St, Muskegon, MI 49441 with Father Charlie Hall. Luncheon provided after, at the same location. Private graveside service for immediate family will be at Pine Hill Cemetary, in Fruitport, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of America.
Like the poem, “Footprints in the Sand”, she has carried many a loved ones burden's with never a complaint. Her loving and giving nature will be greatly missed.
