Richard was a lifelong “Lynner” “Bread and Fed” as he would be likely to say. He was the son of the late Joyce Dunnigan Petruccelli.
Richard worked at the Porthole Pub as an experienced bar tender and waiter. He enjoyed working in the Hospitality and restaurant business and his work was his passion.
Richard was an avid Beatles and Jerry Seinfeld fan. Going so far as to name his beloved dog “Lil Jerry”. Richard had a contagious laugh and could bring a smile to your face, no matter what the occasion may be. He referred to himself as a “West Lynner”, he would often say where he grew up with his long time West Lynn friends. Richard will be remembered for his movie quotes and his one liners. One of his favorite one liners was “I hate being a lefty” and of course his famous “laugh and clap” whenever hearing or saying something funny or a simple prank.
Richard is survived by his two brothers David and Anthony Petruccelli both long time Lynn residents. His five beautiful nephews and niece Angelo, Alex, Adam, Myeta and Mikcael.
In addition to his loving mother, Richard was predeceased by his beloved son Brett M. Petruccelli.
Richard’s visiting hours will be in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 from 4-6 PM. Funeral Services and Interment will be private.
