Dianna Lee was born to Walter Coleman and Betty Coleman, November 13, 1949, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated from Bourne High School in 1967 and received a Bachelors' of Science in Nursing from Midwestern State University. She married James Barry McGovern in December 1967, and they lived together in Porter, TX. Together they raised one child.
She leaves as her legacy one child: Shawna Fritsch, (Erich), as well as four grandchildren she treasured, Hannah, Felicity, Gregory and Logan. She also leaves to cherish her memory one sister, Charlotte and one brother Marty. Her children and grandchildren remember her as a loving and supporting woman who always made them feel loved, important and special.
She was preceded in death by Walter (Father), Betty (Mother), Kelly (Brother), Walter Jr. (Brother), Ernest (Brother).
Lee was a Registered Nurse until she retired in 2015 as the night house supervisor for Baylor Hospital in Irving. She was passionate about being a caregiver, her job and employees. She was an extremely intelligent, kind and loving woman who never met a stranger or a person with whom she couldn't make a connection. In her retirement she truly loved being with her four grandkids, swimming in her pool and being with her devoted husband. She was an amazing mother and wife and will continue to be an inspiration to her family as she lives on in the memories of those who love and miss her.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Lee at her daughter’s residence, 25600 Kransburg Ridge Ct, Porter TX, 77365 on April 28th from 2 to 5pm.
