Kyle Nuss, age 29 of Odenville passed away May 28, 2019. Cystic Fibrosis was a daily reminder of how short life could be but Kyle was a fighter. Kyle was a musician and loved playing the guitar, drums and piano. He also loved the outdoors and was very adventurous, had a wonderful sense of humor and was a vivid storyteller. Kyle loved tattoos, music, movies, Alabama Football but most of all he loved God, his family and the love of his life, Brittney Dixon Lunsford.
He loved life and lived each day as though it were his last. Kyle lived his dash and is victorious over the trials of life and Cystic Fibrosis.
He is survived by his mother Terry Brown Coats and her husband Chris of Moody, favorite sister Nicole Tucker and her husband Jake of Springville; brothers: Conlee Nuss of Moody and Jacob Nuss of Dixon, TN. Nieces: Ella, Shelby and Kameron and nephew Christopher. Stepmother Sandy Nuss of Dixon, TN, Grandparents; Charles Green of Coldwater, MS, Barbara Nuss of Cleveland, AL and Bill and Nancy Coats of Moody, AL. Aunts; Deborah (Sam) Harris of Pinson, AL, Teresa (John) Gore of Tampa, FL. Uncles; Curtiss Nuss and Jeff Coats of Moody, AL; several cousins and a host of friends. Kyle was preceded in death by his father Greg Nuss; Grandparents: Linda Booker Green, Forest and Mary Ellen Brown and Curtis Nuss; and uncles: Milton Smith and Mitchell Ray Brown.
The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at UAB Adult CF Unit and the CF Team, UAB Hospital, Kirkland Clinic, Southern Beacon Hospice and our extended family and friends. Kyle is home!
