Stanley J. Cormier, 95, of Holiday City South in Berkeley Township, NJ, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019. Born in St. Paul, Canada, he lived in Lodi, NJ for 34 years before moving to Holiday City South in 1987. Stanley was a veteran of the US Army. He was a machinist for Athenia Steel Co. in Clifton, NJ for 33 years retiring in 1986. He was a communicant of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church.
Stanley was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Marguerite Cormier and his son-in-law Ernest Lombardi. He is survived by four daughters, Linda Lombardi of Lake Hiawatha, Brenda and Eric Seuthe of Los Angeles, CA, Donna and Rosario Vessillo of Rutherford, NJ and Yvonne and Robert Rivas of Marlboro, NJ; five grandchildren, Michelle Vallee, Brian Hilliard and his wife Liana, Carey Seuthe, Mark Seuthe and Russell Vessillo; two great grandchildren, Brianna and Valentina Hilliard; and his brothers Leo Cormier of Berkeley Township, NJ, Albeo Cormier of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, Armand Cormier of Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada and sister Lilianne of St. Antoine, New Brunswick, Canada.
Visiting hours will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday June 12, 2019 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday June 13, 2019 at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church. Entombment will be at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, NJ.
