Michigan. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and for
his fun-loving spirit and gentle nature.
Bill was raised in Merrimack, NH, the second of four children to Alex and Annis Hujsak. He spent his
youth working and playing on the family farm, working at his father’s car dealership, skiing the
mountains of New Hampshire and Vermont, and racing cars with his siblings and friends.
While serving in the US Army, he made a lifelong friend who encouraged him to come to Michigan and
enroll at Michigan State University. There he discovered two of his greatest joys: his future wife, Donna,
and a love for MSU athletics (specifically basketball and football). For the rest of his life, he cherished
Donna and bled green for MSU!
Bill graduated from MSU with a degree in Accounting which led to a successful 38-year career at
Consumers Energy.
Bill loved to play games, have fun, make jokes, and spend time with family and friends. Whether it be
playing cribbage with his NH family, Euchre with his MI family, water skiing at Higgins Lake,
houseboating on Lake Powell, playing tennis and golf with friends, or just hanging out while drinking
beer and trading barbs with anyone and everyone. “Let’s do something fun” was his mantra, even until
his last days.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Donna (Beebe); his children, Chad (Lindsay)
Hujsak, Erin (Will) Clark, and Kelly (Scott) Yates; his grandchildren, Felisha, Michelle, Christa, Alex,
Mason, Lucas, and Oliver; his brothers, Richard Hujsak and Andy Hujsak; his sister, Elaine Dunton; and
many more loving cousins, nephews, nieces, and in-laws.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11am at the First Presbyterian Church of

visitation on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 5pm until 8pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Mason
