Gwendolyn Winona Malone, of Converse, Texas was called home by our Lord and Savior on June 21st, 2019. She was born September 17, 1951 in St. Louis Missouri. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years L.C. Malone Jr. and bothers and sisters Richard Mckire Jr, Linda Renee Mckire, Myron Levelle Mckire and Gilda Waters. She is survived by her two sons, Mearran (Kristy) Malone of Palmetto, Georgia and LC (Isabel) Malone III of Cibolo, Texas. Gwendolyn loved her grandchildren Jenay Nicole, Danielle, Ashley, Gwendolynn Hope, Arron, Malik, James, Nakiya, and Jalen and great grandchild Zelda, Kiyan and Christoper very dearly.
Gwendolyn Winona Malone is also survived by brothers Byron Mckire, Terrell Mckire, Anthony Mckire, Randy (Jenny) Mckire, Rodderick (Pearl) Davis, Jeff (Sherry) Davis, Kevin (Sherry) Davis and sister Gloria (Larry) Barnes, As well as brother and sisters-in-law’s James, Joe (Tahundra), and Derrick (Iesha) Malone, Barbara Ludd, Alice Page, Linda (Don) Hollis, Cherly (Derrick) Taylor, Deborah (Esau) Carter & Berretta Malone. Gwendolyn also cherished a host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews that she really loved.
Gwendolyn was the first of thirteen children, Gwendolyn was born to Mike Davis and Berdine Marshall on September 17th, 1951 in St. Louis Missouri. She met L.C. Malone Jr. after he moved to Lovejoy Illinois her Sophomore year, she graduated from Lovejoy High School then soon after married L.C. Malone Jr, soon after he enlisted in the United States Air Force, they had two children Mearran Malone and L.C. Malone III.
Gwendolyn was an incredible mom, nurse and gave all her time and energy to raise L.C and Mearran to be great men. She spent the majority of her life at different Air Force stations with her husband raising their two children such as Scott AFB ILL, Lackland AFB TX, Castle AFB, Atwater CA, Clark AFB Philippines, Tinker AFB Oklahoma, San Vito AFB Italy, Randolph AFB TX. As a young girl she was raised by her strong and faithful mother, along with her brothers and sisters. Gwendolyn was strong in her faith, kind and generous, fun and loving, a great friend and confidant. She loved shopping, cooking watching movies and her family. She will be greatly missed but she’s with dad in a place where there’s no more pain or suffering, we will always love you.
