Andrew was born in Muskegon to David and Monica Merwin. He graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School, and attended St. Joseph College. Andrew was employed at the Silverwood Sawmill, where he appreciated everyone and loved going to work. He also loved his dogs Rhone and Luigi, and joins his dog Lady in Heaven. He followed pro sports closely, (participating in many fantasy sports leagues with family and friends) and loved working outdoors.
Andrew is survived by his parents, David and Monica Merwin; sister Melissa (AJ) Willett; brother Christopher Merwin; aunt Anita (Steve) Balogh; uncle Joseph Wajman; cousins, Nia (Robert) Loomis, and Bradley (Jennifer) Balogh; nieces and nephews, Chelsea Hayes, Dezmin Merwin, Dominick Merwin, and Max Willett; special friend Brianne Moschke; many extended family and friends.
A gathering to celebrate Andrew’s life will take place July 28, 2019 (Sunday) from 11am - 2:00pm at McGraft Park Pavillion, 2204 Wickham, Muskegon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pound Buddies Animal Shelter & Adoption Center or to his extended 6:30am AA/Alano family at Hile and Henry.
