Lucinda was born September 26, 1929 in Emmett Tennessee, daughter of Albert and Flossie (Bunch) Logan.
Lucinda, affectionately known as Cindy, to close family and friends, was a dedicated wife, a wonderful mother, a homemaker and in later years a home health caregiver. She enjoyed her family life and her church life. She always passed down words of wisdom, courage and encouragement.
Lucinda is predeceased by her husband, Rancy Lee Bowers, a son, Monroe Lee Bowers, a granddaughter, Kimberly Ellen Bussey, and several brothers and sisters.
Lucinda is survived by one brother, William Austin (Patricia) of Abingdon, VA, daughters Joyce Martin of Detroit MI, Rosemary Bussey (Rufus) of Apex, NC, Linda Braziel-White of Houston, TX, Patricia Thomas (Vincent) of Severn MD, son William Stanley Bowers (Peggy) of Shreveport, LA and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She most importantly imparted to her children, her faith. When we think of her, we’ll think of the following scripture: Proverbs 31:30 – “but a woman that feareth the, LORD, shall be praised.”
