Glenn served our country in the United State Navy during the Korean War.
Glenn was a devout Christian he attended Dallas Bay Baptist Church. He loved to sing especially Southern Gospel and directed the choir at Falling Water Church of God for several years. Glenn retired from Combustion Engineering with over 32 years of service and after his retirement he worked as a part-time associate with Chattanooga Funeral Home.
He was preceded in death brother, Ross Duggan; sisters, Dixie Donaldson, Evelyn Rose, Barbara Laymon, Mildred Varner, Clarice Smith and Naomi Varnes.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Duggan; two sons, Clifton Duggan and Dr. Ken (Marilyn) Duggan; grandchildren, Jason and Christopher Duggan, Adam Duggan and Andy Duggan; great grandsons, Elijah and Graeme; great granddaughter, Lila Pearl Duggan; sister, Inez Smith and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 pm on Monday, August 12, and 11:30 to 12:30 pm on Tuesday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Glenn’s life will follow at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, at the North Chapel with Rev. Ken Young and Rev. Rick Smith officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
