Anna Templet Gaudet, resident of Plaquemine and native of Pierre Part, passed away at her home on Sunday, August 25, 2019. She was 89. Anna was a true Cajun lady, full of sugar and spice. She was a wonderful cook, known for her crawfish bisque. She was an avid Cubs fan and loved her gambling trips. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Gaudet Morales; sons, Patrick Gaudet (Janice) and Darrell Gaudet; grandchildren, Jennifer T. Gaudet, Cody P. Morales, Savannah R. Morales, Johnathan D. Morales, Candy M. McCormick, Katherine M. Daigle, and Courtney J. Morales; and great grandchildren, Skylar, Ashley, and Matthew McCormick, Mason Allen, Mattie and Evan Daigle, Cole, William, and Christopher Morales, Jacob and Natalie Morales, and Bryce and Johnny “J.J.” Carline. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph “J.P.” Gaudet; parents, Clerfe and Aurelia Coupel Templet; sisters, Adeline and Eve Templet; and her brothers, Neville and Pierre Templet. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 9 am until 10:45 am at Ourso Funeral Home, Pierre Part. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 am at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Pallbearers will be Cody Morales, Johnathan Morales, Charles Morales, Bryce Carline, Mason Allen, Mathew McCormick, and Colby Draughon. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jacob Morales and Johnny “J.J.” Carline.
