Howard Lamar Knighton, passed away peacefully after battling cancer, on Sunday, September 8, 2019, at his home in Spring Branch area of Houston, Texas. He was born on March 5, 1960 at Spring Branch Hospital in Houston.
Howard is preceded in death by his first wife, Terri Thomas, and his second wife, Mary Alison Anders. He is survived by his two children, Madyson Kristine Knighton and Tyler Cordell Knighton.
As a teen, Howard began working at the family business, Burdens Vacuum, helping his mom and grandma. He worked there his entire life. He enjoyed watching movies and had a keen knowledge of Hollywood trivia. He was also an expert marksman and knew about the manufacture and operation of all handguns and rifles. Howard was an avid fan of the Deep Dark Web, Conspiracy Theories, and a Flat Earth believer. Howard was also an advocate for the Legalization of Marijuana.
What Howard loved most of all was staying home and spending time with his family watching movies and commenting on current events. He loved his children Very much. Howard was known affectionately as “Howie” or “Howa” by his friends and family. He always had a smile on his face and a sharp sense of humor.
Family and friends gathered and celebrated Howard's life at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20th in the chapel of Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road in Houston, 77055.
