He was born on April 29th, 1954 in Whitewright, Texas to Valton and Jewel Harris.
Eddie was an avid fisherman. You could always find him sitting on the bank of Lake Champion casting lines even if the fish weren’t biting. Eddie loved to arrowhead hunt. He would walk for hours looking for arrowheads and other rocks to add to his collection. You could always find him sitting outside on the porch, listening to the radio, drinking his coffee or sitting in the football stands, cheering his grandson on. He was a man with a big heart and always a helping hand.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife Amy Harris of Colorado City, Texas, by his mother Jewel Cody of Odessa, Texas, his daughters Shannon Harris of Colorado City, Texas, and Kimberly Hubbard and boyfriend Daniel Brown of Colorado City, Texas, his brothers Gary Harris and wife Dianna of Gardendale, Texas and Roger Harris and wife Debi of Prosper, Texas, his sister Barbara Hilburn and husband Dennis of Midland, Texas, as well as his grandchildren Mason Randle, Allexys Richmond, and Mckaela Richmond of Colorado City, Texas, Christopher Randle of Dallas, Texas, and Lukas James Brown who is on the way. Eddie is also survived by many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and Friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Valton Harris, his daughter Angela Harris and grandson Ryan Harris, his brother Craig Cody, his nephew Hunter Cody, and his son-in-law Cody Hubbard.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kiker Seale Funeral Home of Colorado City.
