It is with great sadness that the family of Robert Anthony Perone announce his passing on September 26, 2019 at the age of 89. Robert had lived in Anthem, Arizona for 16 years with his wife Catherine, who passed away in July 2018. Robert, known to his family and friends as Bob, passed away surrounded by his family in Phoenix, Arizona.
Bob was born in Hackensack, New Jersey on July 3, 1930. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and a Master’s of Science in Business Administration. He was married to Catherine Lena on October 6, 1951 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Bob had a career as a Construction Manager for numerous projects around the world with Combustion Engineering, Lummus Division. He worked on projects in Venezuela, The Hague in the Netherlands, and several other locations in Europe and Asia. Bob then continued his career in Hawaii working on H-Power and then as a Contract Arbitrator in Arizona.
Robert had a passion for traveling the world and spending time with his family. He enjoyed spending the summers with his family and friends in Hawaii for the past twenty years. Bob is survived by his son, William Perone and his daughter, Roberta Perone. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandson, Robert Perone; his granddaughter, Janay Perone; and forever remembered by his great-grandson, Everett Funderburk.
A visitation with rosary for Robert will be held Friday, October 4, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona. The funeral service will occur the following day, Saturday, October 5, 2019 at 2:00 PM, also at Green Acres in Scottsdale.
