Sheryl Francile Baldridge, 64, a joyful and supportive wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019. Sheryl was born in Houston, Texas on September 23, 1955 to Frances McCann and August Hennessy.
She is preceded in death by her father, August Hennessy, and her brother, David Hennessy. She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Mike Baldridge; Her beloved mother, Frances McCann; Her daughter, Kristina Malek and her son in law, Calvin Malek; Her son, Matt Baldridge and his fiancé, Kristina Varvoutis; Her wonderful grandchildren Kennedy, Holden and Griffen Baldridge, and Declan Malek who is due in January of 2020.
She was so passionate about her family and making sure she kept herself updated and involved in their everyday lives. Sheryl radiated such a positive and cheerful energy that was unforgettable, and shared it with each of her family members, and friends every day.
She resided in Friendswood, Texas and devoted her life to her family, dancing, fishing, and loving on her family, friends and sweet dog, Sadie. She traveled many different places, throughout the U.S. and overseas, to broaden her experiences and create new memories. She previously had a career in oil and gas for National Oilwell and spent the rest of her days working for her family business, Baldridge Surveying.
Sheryl had many friends that loved her and always considered her someone very close to them. She frequently attended breakfast at the local Whataburger, which contributed to the many lasting friendships she had. She was always so positive and happy, a undeniable spirit that can never be replaced.
Sheryl was known for her kind heart, friendliness, and uplifting personality. She brought so much happiness to the lives around her and touched so many lives throughout the years. In our hearts, we know that Sheryl is now at peace with our Savior and has rejoined her father and sibling in His glorious arms and is overwhelmed with His unconditional love. She was such an admirable and incredible woman that will always be remembered as the remarkable person she was.
A Visitation will be held at 1pm and Celebration of Life at 2pm on Thursday, Nov. 7th at Forest Park East Funeral Home (21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598). In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in effort to support non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma research and treatment.
