Born May 17, 1947 in Crab Orchard, WV the son of the late Fletcher Jarrett and Hazel Campbell Jarrett.
Mr. Jarrett was a coal miner and member of the Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed taking care of his 11 children, hunting and spending time at the camp on the River.
In addition to his parent he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Wayne and Roger Jarrett and 3 sisters, Margaret, Margie, and Retha; and one great granddaughter Kyra.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 51 years Maryetta Redden Jarrett; 4 sons, Matthew and wife Tabitha Jarrett of Leland, NC, Robbie Jarrett of Hinton, WV, Russell Jarrett of Huddleston, VA, and Patrick Jarrett of Sophia, WV; adopted son, John Humphries and wife Betty of MacArthur, WV; 2 sisters, Ruth James and Ruth Ann Horton both of Crab Orchard, WV; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Life service will be held at Bible Baptist Church on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 1pm with Rev. Sam Green officiating.
