Florence Jane Santos peacefully went on to be with her loved ones in heaven on Friday, November 22 at 4:30 am. She was born in Ware, Massachusetts and lived there until her early adult years. She moved to Hollywood, Florida and practiced, bookkeeping and accounting as her profession. She married her husband Fernando Santos and moved to Lighthouse Point, Florida where she lived for over 40 years. Florence received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University when she was 55. She partnered with her husband Fernando Santos in their accounting practice, Santos and Associates until her retirement. She was previously widowed from Thurle (Buddy) Westland, Harry Wheaton, and Fernando (Fred) Santos. She was preceded in death by her father Harrison (Harry) Wheeler and her mother Winifred Wheeler along with her sister Gala, her brother David and her granddaughter Katherine (Katie) Santos. She leaves behind a beloved sister, Bette Bucca and her children, Carolyn Facenda, Becky Wheaton, Doreen Quibideaux and Son-In-Law Keith Quibideaux, Sara Wheaton, Linda Kraljevich and Son-In-Law George Kraljevich, Fernando Santos and Daughter-In-Law Christa Santos. She also leaves 14 well-loved grandchildren, Angela Manalasay, Alyssa Thorne, Shannon Smit, Heather Rivet, Galen Brannan, Cara Renfroe, Frank Facenda, Elizabeth Facenda, Karlee McBride, Kody Quibideaux, Kyle Kraljevich, Nina Kraljevich, Amelia Santos, and Joshua Santos. Her legacy also includes 13 great grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren. She also had several grand-dogs including her special puppies Jake, Princess, and Belle. Florence most recently spent her time living with her daughter Linda and her family in Clermont and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed Disney when possible and kept many fond memories of the New England area. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking and baking as well as visiting her family. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. Her Solemn Requiem Mass will be held on Friday, December 13th at 3:00 pm at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke, 130 N. Magnolia Avenue, Orlando, FL 32801.
