Lucas Buchmann, age 22, passed away while at home over the weekend. He was born in Gilroy, CA on December 3rd, 1996 to Linda and Gerald Buchmann. He was a graduate of Montgomery High School, class of 2015. He was a foreman at National Storage Tank, a local and successful water tank construction business in Santa Rosa.
Throughout his life, he was an athlete. Lucas was an avid baseball player who wasn’t afraid of a challenge. He could always put a smile on anyone and everyone’s face, and he knew exactly how to do so. He loved being outdoors, whether it was the coast of Bodega or the coast of Kona, Hawaii. He had a natural ability to make anyone laugh and never failed to have a positive attitude. The impact he has had on the lives of others is immeasurable. He will be remembered by his sense of humor, sunny disposition, his loyalty, his passion, and above all his genuine kindness.
He is survived by his father, Gerald Buchmann; his mother, Linda Buchmann; his sisters, Sarah Buchmann, Jenny Asaro, and Kim Buchmann; and his aunts and uncles, David, Karen, Nancy, Robert, Margaret, and John.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 11 AM at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home, 2601 Santa Rosa Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95407.
