She went to Palmers Girl School and went on many vacations with her family. During war time she helped to take care of her 5 brothers. She was also in the Women’s Land Army and Timber Corps. She loved to cook and garden and knit and reading her books. She met the love of her life Gerald and married him in 1947, and immigrated to the United States later in 1947. She would write little stories to her grandchild. She worked at the library as a volunteer and was also a secretary for many years. She was always ready to help out her family, and loved her two dogs Dolly and CoCoa. She was also very knowledgeable on history, living through WW2, reading her books and the newspapers.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Gerald; son: William James Albert; 4 brothers: Gordon, Doug, Will, and Fred.
She is survived by her daughter: Catherine Augustsson; grandchildren: Clinton Albert, Corrie Albert-Overby, Craig Albert and wife Kaitlin, Gerald Zigmond, Christopher Zigmond. Great-Grandson: Austin Overby, brother: John Tollworthy; numerous nieces and nephews.
