After graduating high school, he attended N.E. College in Miami, Oklahoma. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 2 ½ years, serving in Mannheim, Germany. After service, he began a long and successful career with SWBT/ATET and retired with many years served. He met and married Barbara, his wife in 1972 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bill enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting. Most of all he enjoyed time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara, a son, Mark Kidwell and wife Darcy of Liberty Hill, Texas, a daughter, Mendi Enright of Oklahoma City, two grandchildren, Will Enright and Kate Enright of Oklahoma City, a sister Margie Lawrence and husband C.J. of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Helen Hodges, and a son-in law, Andy Enright.
Bill touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. He will always be remembered for his kind and caring heart.
A memorial service will be held January 31, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Village United Methodist Church, 2501 West Britton Road, Oklahoma City, OK 73120.
