Anna Bell Canizales, age 79 of Barstow, passed away on February 4, 2020 at home with family by her side. She was born December 27, 1940 in Lepanto Arkansas. She lived in Barstow since 1965, during her time in Barstow she worked and volunteered in the following capacities: Family Planning Counselor-San Bernardino County Health Dept., Realtor at Red Carpet Realty, Realtor Broker at MKT Group, Notary Public, Executive Vice President at Aquatic Environmental Controls, Published Writer- Ghost Dog and Caesar, President of Optimist Club 1999 to 2000, Proud American Citizen, Mojave Valley Hospice Board Member and Volunteer and Volunteer for Martha’s Meals Ministry.
She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, Godmother, friend. Survivors include loving partner Gary Moore, son Tim Hutzley and his wife Kelley of Springfield MO, son Tom Hutzley and his wife Sandy of Frederick CO, brother John Roberts of Blythe CA, brother Bill Roberts of Apple Valley CA, sister Bobbie Hodkin of Kingman AZ, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The following proceeded her in death: Husband Albert Canizales, mother Cara Hill, father Dewitt Roberts, brother Dewitt Roberts Jr. and brother Tom Roberts. Ann will be greatly missed and was incredibly loved.
Memorial service will be held at St. Joseph Church, 505 E. Mountain View St. in Barstow, CA at 10:00 AM on Thursday February 13. Flowers can be sent to St. Joseph Church (Anna Canizales service).
