Born in Denver Colorado to Robert and Edna Hoag, Hollie was one three siblings - youngest to brothers Tom and Rick. Hollie graduated from Kennedy High School, and attended Colorado State University in 1972, where she would meet her future husband, Richard Hahn. After a year of college, Hollie next sought a career in the airline industry, and moved to New York City, to work as a flight attendant at United. She travelled extensively throughout the country.
She and Richard re-connected in 1975, fell in love, and married in 1976. They brought two wonderful sons, Michael and Jesse, into their lives in 1983 and 1986. Hollie would become a loving and nurturing mother to her boys.
She began a second career in 1994, this time in the beauty industry as a nail technician. She was very successful, and brought a great vitality and energy to her job. She shared her joyful and kind spirit with all who would come to know her professionally and personally.
She was fearless through her life's journey, and all who knew her were enriched by her light and love.
