Buz “Don’t tell me what to do” Schultz peacefully passed away on February 12, 2020. Married for 61 years to his beloved. The co-stars of his hysterical family include wife Susan (Maltz) Schultz, children Marla Schultz (husband Mark Grossman), Lauren (Schultz) Postyn (husband Adam Postyn), Jonathan Schultz (wife Yvette Doan-Schultz) and his incredible grandchildren Joshua Postyn, Kyle Schultz and Justin Schultz, Buz’s brother Edward and his wife Vicki and last but certainly not least his grand-puppies, Sadie and Teddi. Buz will be remembered as a loving husband, father and friend. A natural comedian who loved connecting with and making people laugh. Love of family, maintaining life-long & new friendships and General William Tecumseh Sherman, a Portuguese water dog chock-full of human qualities who manipulated Buz like no other. We believe Buz will bring his incredible gusto and catalog of jokes to the afterlife as he reunites parents, Samuel and Ruth (Ludwig) Schultz, in-laws Regina (Roth) Maltz and Meyer Maltz, cousins and innumerable friends. A Graduate of Washington & Jefferson College, his fraternity brothers aided and abetted his many pranks. Buz will forever be remembered for his in depth knowledge of all things Civil War(North Shore Round Civil War Roundtable), his woodworking skills, driving Subarus, causing scenes in elevators, blueberry pancakes, enjoying his Romeo Club outings and debating his global point of view. An Insurance Agent by trade, a Captain and talented sailor, dog lover, water buddy disrupter and above all a gifted joke teller. His laughter, his stories, and his good nature will be missed. He Who Laughs Lasts sums up our beloved father, Buz Schultz, who leaves an indelible mark on us all. So long Sinbad.
