Aside from his wife, he was predeceased by his parents, Harold H. and Marion F. Brush, and his brother, Harold H. Brush, Jr.
He is survived by his son, Harold (Victoria) Brush; 3 grandchildren, Annie (Luis) Cornier, Erika (Zach) Brewerton, and Harold H. (Katherine) Brush; as well as 5 great-grandchildren, Arianna, Aliyah, and Antonio Cornier, Lorelai and Elena Ernst, step-great-grandson, Aiden Brewerton; and many dear friends.
Jim was a WWII Army veteran who served as a radio signal specialist in the 69th Signal Battalion. He graduated from the University of Rochester, Class of 1965, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then went on to work for Eastman Kodak as a Mechanical Engineer for 27 years, before retiring in 1983. In his free time he greatly enjoyed fishing, and was also an amateur Ham radio operator, with the call letters, W2PZN.
Relatives and friends may call on Monday, March 9th, from 4-7PM at the WILLARD H. SCOTT FUNERAL HOME, 12 South Ave., Webster, NY 14580. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 10th, at 9:15AM, at St. Rita Church, 1008 Maple Dr., Webster. Interment with military honors to follow in the Webster Rural Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to ALVAH HALLORAN & SON FUNERAL HOME, Gates.
