Guadalupe G. Vela

Guadalupe G. Vela entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 9, 2020 at a nursing home in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 90. She was born on April 8, 1929 to Ezequiel Garza and Juanita Longoria at La Mota Ranch in Falfurrias, Texas. Guadalupe was a loving housewife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother.

Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Aradelia Vela.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three sons, Ralph Vela of Falfurrias, Texas, Alberto (Marie) Diaz of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Irineo (Gloria) Diaz of Alice, Texas; two daughters, Rosa D. Gonzalez of Falfurrias, and Monica Pulido of Alice ; three sisters, Consuelo Ruiz and Ofelia Lopez of Falfurrias, and Leonor Garcia of San Antonio, Texas; eleven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
