Mary Lou (Rohrbacher) Crissey age 85, of Mason, MI passed away on March 15, 2020 while in the care of Green Acres assisted living facility in Mason, MI. Born in Lansing, MI on November 4, 1934 to the late Orva and Mabel Rohrbacher. On June 5, 1953 she married David J Crissey and enjoyed 39 years together before he passed from ALS on February 24, 1993. Now they are reunited to Square Dance in heaven which they did for 21 years together. After dad’s death, she spent many years volunteering at the American Red Cross, Holt Christian Church and making quilts for others. During her life she gave 73 units of blood which is over 9 gallons. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She is survived by her children Deborah (William) Gray, Michael (Rindi) Crissey, Gordon Crissey, Delinda Benson, and Doreen (Thomas) Wybranowski. Grandchildren Clinton (Jenny) Gray, Shane Crissey, Trevor Crissey, Travis Goines, Amie Goines, Norman (Brandy) Benson, Lorraine (Chad) Wildey, Joseph Benson, Sam Benson and Brianna Wybranowski. Great grandchildren Mason, Lauren, Ethan, Elizabeth, Vernon, Alexis, Victoria, Michael, Isabel, Ariana, Bentley, Bailey, Barrett, and Bennett. Great great grandchildren Summer and Amelia. Mary Lou was also preceded in death by her grandson David “DJ” Crissey in 2017, her daughter-in-law Janice Crissey in 2017, and her 8 siblings. Due to travel limitations the family will have a service and burial for immediate family only. We will host a celebration of life hopefully around our parents anniversary of June 5.
