Although a native to the Buffalo, NY area, she moved to Las Vegas in 1992. After settling in the area, she obtained a position as a nanny for former Nevada governor Kenny Guinn’s grandchildren. As time went by, the vast desert and rustic mountains captivated her heart with their raw, unfiltered beauty.
She is well known for her loving and thoughtful nature, her selfless love, and generous, giving heart. Whether known as mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, or friend - she was loved and cherished by all, no matter her title.
Among her hobbies and passions, Frances enjoyed a hearty laugh among friends and family over an equally hearty meal she prepared, followed with one of the many desserts she enjoyed to bake. She loved talking with her great grandsons, watching golf, reading a good romance novel, as well as enjoying some sappy hallmark movies.
She was preceded in death by her parents Patrick and Rose Dispense, and her two siblings, James and Michelene.
Frances is survived by her son Martin Militello (Tip), granddaughter Stephanie Soeder (Daniel), great grandsons Jadon and Aaron Soeder, nieces Salli Tulumello (Bob Skelley) and Judy Pruett (Dave), along with many other nieces and nephews; and her dear friend of 10 years, Albert Riccilli.
