He was 89 years old; he was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. He was born on July 18, 1930 In Yonkers NY. He joined the United States Navy in 1947 and served on the USS New Jersey during the Korean War, in 1952 after serving his country he went to work for Otis Elevator Company on Gunhill Road in the Bronx NY for twenty-seven years.
In 1979 he moved his family to Chattanooga, Tennessee, and was the former owner of Chattanooga Rubber and Gasket Company for many years.
His family and friends were his life; he enjoyed a good meal and a good laugh with equal enthusiasm. He was an honest, kind and giving soul, he was the first one to step up when someone was in need. He will truly be missed by all that knew him. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Masick; sister, Dolores Yaroschak and brother, Harold Masick.
He is survived by the love of his life his wife of 64 years, Patricia Masick of Soddy Daisy; son, Frank Masick (Mary) of Soddy Daisy) son, Lenny Masick(Terry Lynn) of Soddy Daisy; daughter, Lois Pollard(Claude) of Hixson; granddaughter Patricia Kaye (Phillip) of Soddy Daisy.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
